A Stradbroke Island wedding was what Georgia and Greg organised to celebrate their love for each other and their wedding. The wedding photography was a pleasure to do with such a great couple and scenic location.
I had a wonderful smooth trip over to the Island on the ferry followed by a high wave adventure on the way back. All cameras did make it just fine though. Georgia’s hairdresser re-defined the meaning of late. The Bride was only ready 15 minutes before she was due to exchange vows… and we still had a 5 minute trip to get to the ceremony location. Greg was there waiting patiently… we were only a few minutes late in the end. As a wedding photographer, you much be able to adapt quickly to changing plans due to unforeseen events. Even with this big time constraint, we still managed to take 200 quality photographs to complete her pre-bride shoot.
The ceremony was very emotional and lent itself to some fantastic photography. Have a look in the album design below to see.
I was a lucky photographer to have such a wonderful location and fantastic couple to work with this day. Georgia was so easy to work with and the late afternoon light was so soft and warm, it really made my job easy. Having said that though, this is what wedding photography is all about. It is about making a couple at ease with myself and the camera, finding the best lit locations at a given venue and having fun.
